Golden Hearts Tour-Jacob Acosta at Little Toad Creek

Originally founded in 2012 as a remote Inn and Tavern in Lake Roberts, NM, surrounded by the Gila Wilderness, Little Toad derived its name from Sapillo Creek that ran along the property. We - the founders, Dave and Teresa - quickly found that the best part of this business was people coming from far and near to taste our brews.

​We followed the excitement and our own passion to put all our focus into crafting beer and spirits. Coming down the mountain, so to speak, we founded our current location in Silver City, NM, in December of 2013 and opened our second location in downtown Las Cruces in 2018.

In 2016 we restored the 1940s Silver City Liquor Co. warehouse to accommodate our new 15 BBL brewhouse and 300 gallon still. Now this state-of-the-art brewing and distilling operation is reviving a history-rich part of downtown Silver City along San Vicente Creek. JACOB ACOSTA

Jacob Acosta is an international recording and performing artist based in Tucson, Arizona with a music degree in classical guitar and education. He has been featured on National Public Radio, was a jingle writer for FOX, FORD, ESPN, and Codeschool, has played dozens of festivals and tours across the U.S., and has released sixteen records in the genres of blues rock, indie-shoegaze, pop, deep house, progressive house, organic house, americana and folk since 2008 by his own namesake along with the groups Mason, Burning West, HYTS, Roll Acosta, and Race You There. He has also collaborated and released music with both Where The Heart Is Records and MIR Records, along with David Hohme, Sasheen, Jody Wisternoff, Max and Nim, Dustin Nantais, and Desert Raven. His most popular local release is ‘Desert Sounds’, about Arizonan culture and the Southwest. Jacob Acosta has been a national performing artist in Arizona for almost two decades. He performs Southwest folk music as either a looping soloist, or with his trio. His recent release ‘Desert Sounds’ is a cinematic ode to the Southwest desert with a collection of musical stories that pay tribute to Arizona and the greater Sonoran region. Jacob is all about connecting with people of all ages and has been called the human jukebox, singing in any genre, in up to four different languages, and uniting crowds with a deep love for music, and the culture and community of the Southwest. His newest release is Saint Corazón this 2024.
