Golden Gate Park Beginner Archery

Everyone should experience this little known but extremely FUN sport!

The power and excitement of pulling back an arrow through a bow to practice shooting, accuracy, and hand-eye coordination is one that historically satisfied the hunting and combat needs of ancient civilizations. Today, archery has become a popular precision sport that has even earned a place within the line-up of the Olympics. At Golden Gate Park, the only archery range in the city is situated north of the golf course, offering nine target bales.

This will be a great introductory lesson for anyone who wants to try their hand at archery. We will meet at GGP Archery Range and we will try to hit the Bull's eye.

The admission cost will cover the rental cost for bow and arrows.

Feel free to bring your own yard game or picnic snack as well!
