“Gold ZIN™ Jam Session” is a specialty training workshop for certified Zumba instructors who teach Zumba Gold classes or Regular Zumba Classes. It’s part of the ZIN™ (Zumba Instructor Network) continuing education program. You don't have to be a GOLD Licensed Instructor.
In a Gold ZIN™ Jam Session, instructors typically:
Learn new choreography and routines specifically designed for Zumba Gold participants (usually active older adults, beginners, or people needing lower-impact movement)
Practice cueing, rhythm, and teaching techniques
Get feedback from a licensed Zumba Jammer (ZJ™)
Earn continuing education credits
Network with other instructors
A standard ZIN™ Jam Session usually lasts about 3 hours and includes 4 routines instructors can immediately use in class.
You also Learn; BALANCE SONG, CHAIR ROUTINE, & SPECIAL GOLD WARM UP AND COOL DOWNS.
The “Gold” version focuses on:
Lower-impact movement
Balance and mobility
Safer pacing
Modifications for aging populations
These sessions are generally only open to active ZIN™ members.
