This year, at GMMF V, we are celebrating all the talented singers/musicians in the Dormont/Keystone Oaks community! Two local bands will make their debut. Song of the Whale and Side Peace. Closing the show will be The Gold Mountain Music All-Star Band! There are just too many incredible performers in our neighborhood to book all their bands so we put together a house band and will feature different performers from around town to play a few songs each with them. The featured players have already selected their tunes and the house band is already busy learning two full sets of songs. You’ll meet the featured players in future posts.
This is an indoor event in the building at the Dormont Pool. 1801 Dormont Ave. Same deal as always. $20 ticket gets you in the door and, for patrons 21 and over, unfettered access to an open beer and wine bar. The Coal Mine will be on site selling food (menu TBD) and we are locking down a vendor or two as well. This is the centerpiece of the Gold Mountain Music calendar and we are humbled by the support of the community in years past.
