Gold Leaf Abstract Painting Workshop

In this class you will learn everything there is to know about the modern applications of gold leaf, and of course how to apply it properly to your artwork.

You will learn about the materials needed, as well as compatibility of materials and the most effective way to apply gold and other metal leaf so that it will last for years to come

Do you love the beauty of gold leaf, but are intimidated by adding it to your artwork? Not sure what materials to use, or whether or not you should varnish? Confused by the battle between real and imitation gold leaf?

This class contains all of the information you will need to confidently apply gold leaf to your artwork, and have it last for years to come.

This course goes even further with many ideas to combine leaf and acrylic paint. This includes many painting techniques to compliment the leaf, such as glazing, texture, faux tarnish effects and other contemporary paint applications.
