GOING IT ALONE is a collection of monologues by local playwrights celebrating the unique challenge of writing for a solo performer and performing solo! Solo performance is a unique experience for the actor, the playwright and the audience! Actors take the stage alone and must singularly engage the audience. For the playwright, the challenge is in creating a fully realized rich narrative within the confines of a short monologue. This event took place last June under the name FLYING SOLO with producers Susan Frank and Rob Zonefrelli. We are thrilled to be producing GOING IT ALONE at IT.
