The Going Global workshop supports Aberdeen-based businesses to make informed, market-led decisions about international expansion. It is designed for companies that are actively exploring new markets as a route to revenue growth, diversification, and long-term resilience, and need clarity on where to focus, what demand exists, and how to execute effectively.

International expansion can unlock significant opportunity, but without a clear view of market demand, routes to entry, and operational realities, it also introduces risk. This workshop helps businesses move beyond high-level ambition to practical market insight and disciplined planning. Participants will assess international demand for their products and services, understand viable export and import pathways, and explore the regulatory, cultural, and logistical factors that influence successful market entry.
