Seventy years ago, a giant fire-breathing lizard emerged from the sea and laid waste to Tokyo, changing the cinema landscape forever. Godzilla, Ishirō Honda’s groundbreaking monster movie that also served as a meditation on postwar Japan in the nuclear age, is having a colossal birthday, and so we’re throwing the ol’ boy one hell of a party.
On the very day the original film was unleashed on an unsuspecting public, we’re having a Zilla-Thon with SIX of our favourite Godzilla features across the decades. Let’s blow out the big lizard’s candles in style.
Doors open 12pm - First film starts at 1pm, 15 min breaks in between each of the 6 films - Event finished 10pm.
