A two-session art and nature experience for children grades K-5. Led by Steve Thomas (arborist and Pathways' Land Steward) and John Nafziger (retired art teacher), children will learn more about native animals and their habitats, will spend time in the woods at Pathways, and will get a chance to make their own creatures out of clay!
Children attend two sessions on Saturdays, May 11 and 18. There are two options: the morning sessions are 9:30-11:30 (session is full!), and the afternoon sessions run 1:00-3:00.
In addition to being able to craft their own unique clay creatures to take home, participants will also make a creature to leave at Pathways to be placed along a "hidden creature trail" for visitors to find and enjoy. Spots are limited to 12 per session, so be sure to register soon!
