Gods Die in Hot Cars
Eddie wakes to find himself the lead role in a live play. The setting; a roadside diner in Arizona – two customers one waitress.
Who are they all? Why are they here? And do they really have to follow the script?
One character, the Narrator, seems to have more of a grasp on the situation. But even he isn’t immune to all the story’s twists.
A short off-the-wall tale packed with humour, suspense, drama, sadness and surprises. Some stories just don’t wanna' be told!
This is the debut short play from Worcester-based Billy Lane.
Written for all creatives who have ever been paralysed by the anxiety of taking that initial first-leap into the world of performance (of any kind). What will our audience think? Should he care? However bad it gets just remember it’s not the end of the world. Or is it?
