Join our "Empress Equinox," edition, a day of exploring your power in the world and grounding in self-connection. This gathering is designed to celebrate the autumn season and honor your inner Empress.
This is an event within a regular series of collaborative day-retreats, where local teachers, artists, and holistic practitioners come together to provide a rich experience for women's wellness and spirituality, all aligned with the Wheel of the Year.
Throughout the day, you will participate in four group sessions created to connect and nourish your inner Empress, along with wholesome snacks and a vegan lunch!

11:15 to 12:15 - Inner Child Empress: Reclaiming the Crown Within by Sami Bell
Somewhere inside you lives a little girl who knew she was already enough. From the first spark of life, she knew her inherent sovereignty, her power, her right to expression. As an unbound Little Empress, she kicked, twirled, and danced, eagerly awaiting the portal to bring her earthside.
Then she was born into a tiny body that needed attachment to survive. She learned that attachment had a cost. So she adapted, morphed, shifted, and curated her “self” to match what was needed in her family. She shrank, shielded, and masked. And it worked. She survived. She learned the rules, even if they hung like heavy shackles on her shoulders.
Today, we are going to release those shackles, invite her back to her fullest, authentic expression, and embody our Empress energy once again.
The Empress is who we call upon to reclaim our sovereignty, feel great in our own skin, nurture our loved ones, and inspire creativity and abundance in ourselves and others. When we feel like we can’t quite embody her energy, it means our Inner Child needs to be soothed and empowered to express herself freely again.
In this sacred circle, we are returning to, remembering, and reclaiming the little girl inside and the radiant energy she already inhabited before the world told her to play smaller.
Expect connection, deep reverence, play, creativity, and joy through a variety of experiences designed to give your Inner Child Empress a chance to step into her empowered expression. 2:00 to 3:00 - Empress Equinox: Sound, Soul & Sovereignty by Destiny Rose
This one-hour session is a sacred space to activate the inner Empress through sound, self-honoring ritual, and collective fire. In alignment with the Fall Equinox—a time of balance, reflection, and harvest—we will tune into the power of the solar plexus chakra, the seat of our personal fire, willpower, and transformation.
Inspired by a personal limpia ceremony where I was asked to light a candle for myself and honor my inner fire, I will guide the women in a candle ritual—each participant will light a candle as a symbolic act of reclaiming her light. We will reflect on what we are harvesting within ourselves, release the fear of being “too much,” and stand unapologetically in our creative power.
Expect poetic storytelling, intentional music, and a sacred vibe that invites each woman to take up space with grace and boldness while alchemizing through light work. This is a ceremony for the woman who is ready to rise, radiate, and reign.
