Welcome to the Goddess Series!
In this 7-week series, we explore Chakradance through the lens of the Goddess Archetype. Each week we will work with a goddess whose characteristics align with each of the 7 major chakras from base to crown.
Beginning September 29th we meet on Sundays in the afternoons at 3pm and classes run between 1.5 and 2 hours. There will be no class on Sunday, November 3rd. In case of the facilitator's illness, a make-up date of November 24th is held.
In each Chakradance class, we will journey inwards with the rhythmic movement of the dance, entering into a relaxed state. Then, following along as the facilitator Angie transports you to the realm of each goddess.
What does class look like?
We begin seated, inviting ourselves to leave the day behind with a few cleansing breaths. Angie speaks a little about the Goddess we are working with that week and what life aspects that Goddess will be supporting us with and then we dance. After the dances, we create mandala art, bringing the dance's energetics into the physical realm through our art and finishing with a sharing circle.
Overview
Week 1 we surrender our outdated patterns, and step into a new cycle through a potent ritual with Goddess Kali.
Week 2 we heal any sexual wounding and reclaim the gift of divine pleasure through a ritual with Goddess Aphrodite.
Week 3 we call in supreme divine protection and learn to master the art of creating, and maintaining, sacred boundaries through a ritual with Goddess Sekhmet.
Week 4 we find forgiveness for yourself and others and radically open your heart to receive more love through a sacred ritual with Goddess Kuan Yin.
Week 5 we engage in a sacred purification ritual with Goddess Saraswati and become a pure channel of sacred wisdom and creativity.
Week 6 we align your physical and spiritual aspects and open more fully to intuitive guidance, through a ritual with Goddess Tara.
Week 7 we engage in a past-life ritual with Goddess Isis and heal any negative energetic imprint it is having on you this life.
