Gobble 'til You Wobble! Thanksgiving Sugar Cookie Decorating Class

Want to learn the art of decorating beautiful sugar cookies? Cookie Whipped is here to guide you! In this fun and informative 1.5-hour class, we'll cover all the essentials, from decorating perfect sugar cookies (beginner-friendly!) to mastering royal icing techniques. We'll practice piping, explore design strategies, and demystify the world of cookie dough and icing.

Get ready for a Thanksgiving treat! We'll be decorating six festive cookies using four vibrant icing colors. I'll share all my tips and tricks to help you achieve amazing results, even if you're a complete novice.

By the end of the class, you'll have a solid understanding of sugar cookie fundamentals and some impressive techniques to wow your friends and family. Plus, you'll take home your delicious creations! We provide everything you need – cookies, icing, sprinkles, tools, and even a box to carry your masterpieces. Just bring your enthusiasm (and maybe an apron!).

This class is perfect for anyone curious about cookie decorating, from absolute beginners to those who want to refine their skills. If you've ever felt intimidated by royal icing or simply want to enjoy a creative activity with loved ones, this class is for you!

We'll have everything prepared for you – no baking or mixing required. Just dive right into the decorating fun!

Join us on Saturday, November 16th, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Whether you come solo, with a friend, or with family, you're guaranteed a delightful time! We can accommodate up to 12 people.

This class is recommended for ages 12 and up. If you prefer to leave younger children at home, consider our add-on kits (more details below). The kits are a great way to share the fun with kids, and we'll even send you the class PowerPoint so you can guide them!

Cancelation / Refund / Sick Policy
Note - our classes no longer require masks for vaccinated individuals. Our classes follow the current recommendation by the state government and health organizations.

Class Masking Policy:

You will not be required to wear a mask throughout the class; however, you can choose to wear a mask if you'd like! I provide masks, hand sanitizer, disinfectant, and wipes for attendees. Each station is disinfected along with the venue before and after your event.

Showing Symptoms 48 Hours Before Class:

If you’re sick prior to the event you can cancel for a full refund as long as you give us 48-hour notice! And might we say thank you for quarantining. To request a refund through Eventbrite, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Eventbrite.
2. Go to Tickets.
3. Find the order you want refunded, then select Request a refund.
4. Enter your details and submit your request. The organizer should respond within five business days.

Showing Symptoms After Days Out:

If you show any sickness symptoms prior to your class’s start time but after the 48 hour refund policy, please email us at [email protected] before your class’s start time, and we’ll roll you into an upcoming class!

You Don't Show Up or Email Prior To Class:

If I do not hear from you before your class’s start time, and you do not show up for class, I won’t be able to offer you a refund or roll you into the next class even if you're sick. So please reach out before class if you’re feeling sick!

DIY / Add-On Kits

Order your sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend! These class kits come with everything you'll use in class, and I’ll email you the class PowerPoint so you can follow our step-by-step instructions from home! Cookie Class DIY Kits are created before your class, and you'll pick them up and take them with you after class.

How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home. Cookies are heat sealed for freshness – but again, use it in under a week to make sure it tastes the best.

Class Cancelation Policy: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including your Eventbrite fees.

Classes with attendance below 5 will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either have your ticket moved to a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 2 days before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.

Weather Policy: Sometimes Jack Frost doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules, and Mother Nature seems to be takin’ notes. In the event of inclement weather, I’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event but rest assured – we’ll figure something out!

Eventbrite Fees: Your ticket price includes your ticket fees; however, Eventbrite does not refund its fees. If you cancel your ticket and request a refund prior to the cancelation window expiring, I’ll happily give you a refund less the Eventbrite fee – since I don’t get this fee back either. Eventbrite keeps it regardless of whether you show up or cancel. I know – I hate it too!
