WHAT IS GOBBLE GOBBLE GIVE NYC?

On Thanksgiving morning, volunteers come together to help people in need all over the city. What started with a few people handing out meals to the homeless in 2009 has grown to 850 volunteers, 3600 meals, and thousands of care packages delivered in 2019. Join us on Thanksgiving Day to ensure the spirit and tradition of the holiday are shared with the less fortunate. Click for a short video about GGG NYC. https://vimeo.com/248906414

WE HAVE 2 LOCATIONS THIS YEAR!

We will have volunteer teams accepting donations at The Church of the Intercession, and The Apollo Theater, in Harlem. You can drop off donations at either location. Because of the pandemic, we cannot have volunteer shifts this year. Please register below to DROP OFF DONATIONS on Thanksgiving Day. A small vaccinated team in masks & gloves will be standing outside both venues accepting donations. We ask that you register to drop off at a specific time, so there are never too many people arriving at one time.

GGG NYC 2021 WILL BE A TOY DRIVE!

PLEASE BRING AN UNWRAPPED TOY OR CHILDREN'S BOOK. We'll still accept other donations, but our focus will be toys this year. All the toys will go to the thousands of children we help in group homes, shelters, & public housing. For many, this will be the only gift they receive this holiday. Let's show these kids how much the community cares about them & share the joy of the giving season.

OTHER DONATIONS WE WILL GLADLY ACCEPT: Canned & Packaged Foods, Toiletries, Baby items, New Clothing, New or Gently Used Blankets, PPE

OTHER WAYS TO HELP

• Buy a GGG 2021 T-Shirt, available at both locations.This helps cover our costs.

• Collect donations from family, friends, & neighbors. Drop off everyone's donations in one car.

• Reach out to your local community leaders or businesses for bulk donations.

• Purchase & ship donations directly to one of the GGG NYC partner shelters, the Ruth Fernandez Family Shelter, in The Bronx. The items you purchase from this Amazon Wish List will ship directly to the 76 families staying in the shelter.

Gobble Gobble Give is a 501(c)(3), and all donations are 100% tax-deductible. Tax ID 27-1302758. All donations are delivered to New Yorkers in need on Thanksgiving Day.
