Goat Yoga Tampa benefitting Community Pet Project; Fundraiser - 11/6/22

Come support Hillsborough County's Community Pet Project by doing goat yoga! Community Pet Project assists veterans, homeless and at-risk families and individuals keep their pets by providing food, medications, toys, supplies, and medical assistance. We also help veterans find temporary housing for their pets/service animals when the veteran needs to enter the hospital or treatment. We provide the food,supplies, and help with any medical issues. We are a non-profit in Tampa, FL and have helped over 2500 pets in Hillsborough County. All of our funds come from donations and fundraising events and we are supported by our amazing volunteers!

Yoga with goats = the perfect zen happiness! Join us for a morning yoga session taught by Erin with Rising Vibes Wellness - goats will jump around, interact & play with yogis during the class. Prepare for an hour of smiles & pure joy! Get your cameras ready for some great goat selfies! Not a seasoned yogi? No problem! Our classes are designed for all skill levels, even newbies. Let’s be honest, most come for the goat love!!!

What’s better than yoga with goats & supporting a local pet charity? Obviously goat yoga followed by a beer! Your ticket includes your first drink at Bullfrog Creek Brewing. Cheers!

PLEASE READ ***Goats will jump and can nibble - be aware you will be in close contact with goats during the yoga session - this yoga class is not recommended for anyone with health conditions that could be bothered by close interaction with goats/animals. Also not recommended for young children as goats can and will jump. Not recommended for those that do not like interacting with animals. You will be interacting closely with animals during this class. Goats are NOT potty trained.**

We will not be loaning out mats - PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MAT OR AN OLD LARGE TOWEL.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

* Children must be at least 10 years of age to participate and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

What should I bring into the event?

*Bring your own yoga mat or a large towel is fine. Please be aware, yoga mat could get dirty. Please bring your own bug spray, a sweat towel and bottled water to stay hydrated.

Goat Yoga Tampa swag (tanks, hats, etc.) will be available for purchase. If you think you might want any of these fun items, please bring cash.

How long is the class?

*We do 45 minutes of yoga (for all levels) followed by 15 minutes of goat photos, poses and selfies. You may stay at Bullfrog as long as you like and have a few drinks after class (your ticket includes one free drink).*

Do the goats do yoga?

*No, but that would be cool! The people do the yoga, the goats are there for the unconditional love and joy. It's like animal therapy meets yoga meets a drink afterwards. It's a win-win-win!*
