GOAR Charities 5th X-mas in Summer Ride in Bike Show to Clear the Angel Tree. We have changed the Date to reduce the chance of extreme heat that we have experienced the last couple of year. Location TBD. Registration begins at 1pm thru 230pm, Voting will begin soon after registration ends. $20 per entry category. Categories are as follows. Chopper, Bagger, Custom, Metric, Vintage (Older than 25 years Manufacturer date), Stock and Fan Favorite. Beer Tub, Food Trucks, The Patch Guy, and K.C. Motor Babes on site to shine up your ride, John Michael on Guitar, DJ Toker, kids Tattoos by surprise guest, Outlaw HD Booth, many other Vendors, that's your outdoor entertainment. Awards given at 4pm. 50/50 RAFFLE, All proceeds goes to the Angel Tree Fund for underpriviledged kids in November. Bikes Babes and Beer, the essentials for a good day to help out kids.
"We are Continuing donate a Bike, Razor Scooter or New Toy to this year's event, out of the goodness of all your hearts" Since there is no fee or cover charge to this event.
We we're asking if people will donate a new upopened toy, a bicycle, or razor type scooter! These gifts can be used for the Fall event by Santa, and what we can add to our toys we purchase for financially unfortunate kids in KC! Bicycles and Scooters are the number one requested gift. Our normal standard for gifts are about $35 per child for toys, with the inflation we are all currently experiencing, Bikes have gone up expedentionally in costs. We used to buy about 30 bikes or so and they used to only cost about $50, even though it's above the price range, they are now $90-$100 a bike. We hope we can add more toys, bikes and scooters to this event!
