Goalie Clinic for U15/U18 with USport Alumni Karsyn Niven

We’ll start with fun positioning games that help you move like a pro—learning how to square up, angle your body, and make shooters work extra hard to score.

Then it’s on to save-the-day drills: butterfly drops, glove snags, stick saves—you’ll be moving, sliding, and reacting to all kinds of shots. Rapid-fire rounds will keep you on your toes (literally!) as pucks fly in from every direction.

To top it off, we’ll throw in breakaway battles and mini game situations where you get to be the hero in the net. You’ll also learn how to talk to your defense like a team captain, calling the plays and leading the action.

Bring your energy, your focus, and your best goalie game—because this session is all about confidence, quick moves, and a whole lot of fun. 🧤🔥

Karsyn is a former WickFester back to pay it forward.

After graduating high school, Karsyn attended Trinity Western University as a part of their USport female team. She played there for 2 years and is now continuing her education in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary.

Karsyn is a goalie coach with Top Prospect Goaltending working in the female department. She has level 1 and 2 goalie coaching and holds coaching designations from NCCP.
