Goal Setting Business Brunch - Newcastle City Library

Come along and join very first business brunch of 2023, designed to build your confidence and help kick start your business plans & activities for the year ahead!

Attendees will meet Sam Hook, Business Confidence Coach, who is also part of our Experts in Residence network. Through her invaluable experience and expertise, Sam will help you to get out of your comfort zone and feel energized in the new year by providing mindset tips to help achieve your goals.

Sam will be highlighting the importance of setting goals when you run your own business or are starting out in business and will give you some tools to ensure you achieve what you set out to do in 2023 with science-backed coaching tips.

To prove that goal setting works, one of Sam’s clients, Dr Emma Hand from Skin Vitality Newcastle, will share her first-hand experience of goal setting which moved her facial aesthetics company from pre-start to a thriving business.

Who should attend?

Through these brunches, we are wanting to inspire those based in and around Newcastle upon Tyne who are thinking about starting, developing, or growing a business and even bring their idea or invention to life.

As the name suggests, a delicious brunch will be provided.

Sam supports small business owners to grow their businesses by teaching them mindset tips and strategies to become more successful.

She offers 1-1 coaching for business owners to boost their self-confidence, build recession-busting resilience and to set and achieve goals to maximise their potential. She also runs confidence building workshops and works with companies across the North East to help their staff to boost their confidence at work.

Sam has been self-employed for the last 22 years. To begin with she ran a successful PR and marketing company and then diversified into coaching. She understands how lonely it can be as a small business owner and how accountability is the key to survival and growth.
