WI MEMBERS ONLYCome and be inspired about wilding and wildlife and the actions you can take to improve your surroundings in your garden and beyond. Learn about existing projects and develop and share ideas which you can put in to practice yourself, or alternatively with others in your WI in order to enter the Allsop Cup. There will be speakers and a panel from Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Making Space for Nature and community and garden projects. 2025 is the Allsop Cup year in which your WI can undertake an environmental study about wilding and wildlife which runs for a full year. Commencing in January, WI members working as a group of at least four, can start work on this
study which can be in your own gardens, in your local community or in partnership with other organisations. At the end of the year you can present your study results in all sorts of imaginative ways: written reports including illustrations, charts and photographs; craft items; or digital media.
All WI members are welcome to come whether or not you intend to apply for the Allsop Cup. Refreshments will be available on arrival and soup and rolls will be available at lunch time.
