Join astronomer Neill Sanders at the Sutton Bank Star Hub for this special stargazing event.To mark the North Yorkshire Dark Sky Festival, we'll be spending a night on the moon! Our nearest neighbour will loom large overhead, casting a magical light over the winter landscape. We'll use our telescopes to spy craters, mountains, and lava flows.
We'll also show you how to take a picture with your mobile phone. Plus Jupiter - 890 million miles from the Sun! - is still putting on a fabulous show. We'll have more wonders to share with you on this special night.
This event is being staged in collaboration with Go Stargazing. We are committed to making stargazing accessible and affordable - viewing the heavens shouldn't cost the Earth.
