Our annual Go Skate Day event will be held this year on Saturday, June 19th or “Juneteenth” of 2021. This will be an all day event with huge prizes to the skateboarders showing skill and consistency. The event starts at 10am at Westlake and will end at Eagle Rim later in the evening. This is an event where all are welcomed and all skill levels of skating are accepted. The categories we will be having prizes for includes:
• Advanced skateboarding
• Groms (12 and under)
• Women category.
There will be some stipulations to each category. For example, if you are over the age of 12 and the judges or yourself feels you’re in a higher bracket, you will be moved up to the Advanced Skating category.
The schedule will be….
• 10am - 12pm at Westlake Skatepark (325 W. Orchard Ave.) for Best tricks on certain obstacles, best line, highest air and snake run race.
• 1pm - 3pm will be at Mutual Friends. Skate shop. (429 Colorado Ave.) This is where we’ll rejuvenate and replenish with food and goods. Have a sick ramp sesh with giveaways and all charge down Main St. together.
• From 4pm on, we’ll all meet at Eagle Rim (2746 Cheyenne Dr.) for the Cash prize and main contests for each category.
• After party/pool party at the Street Kingpins Lions Den - DIY skate Park & Pool (2791 Skyline Ct.)
Come have fun with us and watch one of the sickest contests and days in the Valley. Be sure to bring sunscreen, water, snacks and chairs.
