About this Event
Join experienced anglers for catch-and-release fishing and learn about life in the Hudson River. Get up close to marine life in our Oyster Research Station, make music and join fun fishy-themed games, while learning all about our harbor from visiting environmental education and conservation groups.
Anglers and naturalists from Battery Park City Authority will provide bait, tackle, and instructions for fishing. Fishing begins at 10:30am and occurs in 15 minute sessions.Between sessions, explore the waters of the Hudson River: take part in water sampling, fish identification, opportunities for free fishing in NY, and more!
