Trash along the roadways attracts wildlife, and vehicle strikes are largely responsible for death and injury to animals. You can make a difference by joining Charlotte Wildlife Stewards in a trash cleanup along Tyvola Road. For every 25 pounds of trash collected, NCWF will plant one native tree or shrub or ten pollinator plants. So not only are you protecting wildlife, you are contributing to habitat restoration.
