Gnawa Trance Fusion - is an Edinburgh based band that blends traditional Nord African Gnawa rhythms with elements of trance, jazz, blues and funk. Rooted in spiritual and ceremonial music, their sound is deep, powerful and designed to move both body and soul. The band features Omar Afif - Lead singer & guembri, Andy Cooke on balandina, Steve Kettley on sax, Duncan Biggar on drum kit and Simona Simeone on backing vocals.
