About this Event

The Gluten Free Chef® Presents: Gluten-Free Town Hall

Join The Gluten Free Chef for the first Gluten-Free Town Hall, an in-person community gathering for people living with celiac disease, food allergies, and autoimmune conditions in Rochester and the surrounding region.

Date/Time/Location
  • Saturday, September 12, 2026 | 1:00-3:00 PM, In-person
  • Location: Irondequoit Public Linbrary | Registration is required
  • ASL Interpreting provided

This inaugural event will bring the local gluten-free community together for an afternoon of conversation, connection, and collaboration. Part networking session, part panel discussion, and part live demonstration, this town hall will explore the current state of gluten-free living in Rochester and what our community needs next.

During the event, The Gluten Free Chef® will introduce the new The Gluten Free Chef Digital Network™, a platform designed to help our community stay connected, share trusted recommendations, and make gluten-free living safer and easier. A live demo will show how the network will work and how members can participate.

This event is open to adults and children who live gluten-free, support someone who does, or want to be part of building a stronger, more informed local community.

Includes
  • Networking with local gluten-free community members
  • Panel conversation on the state of gluten-free in Rochester
  • Open discussion and Q&A
  • Live demonstration of the Gluten Free Digital Network™
  • Gluten-free snacks and refreshments

Registration

I use a gift economy model for registration. My work is built on relationships, trust, and the belief that education should be accessible while still honoring the real cost of event planning. The true cost of this event is $65/person. Instead of a fixed fee, you are invited to choose the amount that feels right for you. Your contribution may reflect your financial situation, the value of the event to your family, or your desire to support this work so it can continue.

This model allows individuals with different financial circumstances to participate while sustaining future programs. Registration is required.

  • General Registration - $30
    For you
  • Community Sponsor Registration - $60
    For you and someone else
  • Pay What You Can
I will follow up after registration to coordinate payment in a way that feels accessible to you. No payment is required at checkout.
