Glow-worm Evening

The elusive Glow-worm is Britain's most magical animals. For centuries their incredible light has intrigued, amazed and inspired us. But have you ever seen one? And how much do you know about their strange lives?

Join us at The Secret Campsite for this very special event. The evening will start with tea & coffee around the fire as Sussex naturalist Michael Blencowe gives and illustrated talk delving into the life and folklore of the Glow-worm. As the day ends and dusk falls Michael will lead us on a woodland walk - looking for owls, deer, badgers, bats and other nocturnal creatures. Then, as darkness descends, the Glow-worms turn on their love-lights and shine providing us with one of the most memorable wildlife spectacles in Britain.
