🎶 GIFTED TO BLESS THE WORLD: PRAISE THAT CANNOT BE HIDDEN 🎶
“Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with timbrel and harp.” — Psalm 149:3 (NIV)
In a year themed “Gifted to Bless the World,” God is intentionally reminding us that gifts are not ornaments to admire but instruments to serve. They are meant to be expressed, not suppressed; released, not restrained.
At our Assembly, one young man vividly embodies this truth. Bro. Gideon, by profession, works with GT Bank—a corporate environment where excellence, structure, and professionalism are paramount. Yet, in the presence of God, he never allows titles, uniforms, or public opinion to silence his praise. His gift is dance, and his altar is worship.
Whenever praise rises in the Assembly, he rises with it—unashamed, undistracted, and undeterred. His dance is not performance-driven but Spirit-led. Pouring out praise to God with his whole being has become his language of gratitude.
As the Personal Assistant, I had the honour of accompanying Apostle Samuel Addai-Kusi, General Secretary of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), and his wife on this visit. During the service, as praise filled the atmosphere, Bro. Gideon did what he always does—he danced wholeheartedly before the Lord. He did not hide his gift. He did not restrain his praise. And the Spirit of God took notice.
In a powerful and unscripted moment, Apostle Samuel Addai-Kusi paused the service, called Bro. Gideon forward, and invited him to lead the dance of praise. What a moment! What an affirmation! What a divine spotlight on obedience and authenticity!
As the Assembly rejoiced, the General Secretary spoke words of encouragement and pronounced blessings upon him—affirming that when gifts are used for God’s glory, heaven responds.
This moment echoes a timeless biblical truth found in the life of King David:
“And David danced before the Lord with all his might…” — 2 Samuel 6:14 (KJV)
“David said… ‘I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes.’” — 2 Samuel 6:21–22 (NIV)
David’s praise looked foolish to men, but it was precious to God. Just like David, Bro. Gideon chose devotion over dignity and worship over reputation—and God honoured it.
Lesson for us all:
Your gift may not fit the conventional mold. It may not attract applause in boardrooms or trend on social media. But when surrendered to God, it becomes a blessing to the world.
Dance if that’s your gift.
Sing if that’s your gift.
Serve if that’s your gift.
Teach, write, organize, pray—whatever it is, do it boldly and unto the Lord.
This is our year.
This is our mandate.
We are Gifted to Bless the World 🌍
Let your gift speak. Let your praise flow. Let God be glorified.
