Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) is an annual event designed to encourage youth to participate in community service and to honor those who have contributed to their communities through voluntary commitment. In observation of this day, and to kick-off the community garden, we are hosting a Spring Cleanup day. We are asking our community youth to spend the day with us pulling W**d and old plants from the garden beds and picking up trash in rock beds and garden area. Community service hours are available upon request.
Parents can come too!!!
Please note: This event is in tandem with the National Prescription Takeback Day, so if you have any unused/old prescription meds, you can drop off at the office for proper disposal.
