Global Sport | Learn to Krav Maga

Global Sport has teamed up with MediBank to offer UNSW International Students some great experiences to get out and see Sydney while staying fit and making new friends! We are working with the Krav Maga Defence Institute (KMDI) to provide you with the opportunity to learn a brand new skill. FOR JUST $5!

This class will assume it is your very first training session in Krav Maga, and you will be exposed to a highly skilled KMDI instructor team who will guide you as you to navigate drills that are designed to simulate the stresses and uncertainties of real-life conflict.

You’ll be exposed to common street attacks, from both armed and unarmed assailants, you’ll learn to understand the mindset of an attacker, and we’ll teach you to defend yourself effectively, whether it against one, two or more attackers. This is always done in a safe and beginner friendly environment.

We are providing THREE sessions this term:

• 19th June
• 3rd July
• 17th July

What to bring:

• Wear comfortable clothing, that you can breathe and move around in
• Water bottle
• Your Student ID with your 2024 Arc Sticker. This will be checked by one of the AGT Representatives and you will now be allowed to attend the class without it.

Krav Maga Defence Institute, located on 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills

Located just outside Central Railway Station, KMDI is a short walk from the city and easily accessible by public transport.
