Kick off your summer training on Global Running Day at Wednesday Night Hills & Stairs. We meet every Wednesday at City Built Brewing to run Hills & Stairs in downtown Grand Rapids. On this special day, we'll be meeting at the park across the street from City Built and have local vendors on hand to do shoe demos, physical therapy, and some other special treats.
Two group run times: 5:30pm & 6:30pm
You're welcome to run with one or both groups. The route goes down and back up 3 of the major hills in downtown GR. The group waits for everyone to complete a hill before moving on to the next hill. This way the group stays together but you can run anywhere 3-5 miles, depending on how far down each hill you go (or if you just stay at the top).
Stick around after the run for a chance to win some fun raffle prizes and to enjoy a cold beverage (and a bite to eat) with your new friends. Raffle will take place around 8pm, once both groups have gotten back from the run/walk.
Not quite up for running? Whether you are recovering from an injury or just not quite up to running 3 miles yet, we typically have a small group of people who walk as well at each of the group run times.
