Held alongside the WHO Global Obesity Summit 2026 in Madrid, the Global Obesity Forum is World Obesity Federation’s annual flagship convening, creating a space for the wider obesity community to engage around this important global moment.
The 2026 Forum will focus on shared accountability for progress across the obesity ecosystem, with perspectives from civil society, people living with obesity, youth, academia, healthcare professionals, scientific and professional societies, implementation partners, governments and international organisations.
Through interactive discussions, the Forum will explore what shared accountability means in practice, and how meaningful participation can contribute to sustained progress on obesity towards 2030.
