Come join The Dealt Hand, GLIB Games, Never Board Games and the ISU Game Design Major as we host the Des Moines Site for Global Game Jam!GGJ is an event where game designers from around the globe design games in a 48 hour period to an announced theme. If you've ever wanted to try making a game, but didn't know where to start, this is your sign!
We'll open the event with the theme reveal at 5pm Friday, and then help folks find groups to work with - and then you'll work through till our final reveal and showing at 2pm on Sunday!
This site is open for folks both making analog games and digital games!
Please also join our monthly game design meetups the last Tuesday of the month at Gravitate from 6-9pm!
You MUST register through the GGJ site - and then from there you'll get a link to our discord - feel free to connect with other participants there!
