An Evening of Style, Racing & ImpactOn Saturday, May 2nd, from 4:00–7:00 PM, the Sanders Beach Resource Center transforms into the winner’s circle for United Way of West Florida’s Annual Glitz & Gallop Gala. This high-energy event blends the timeless elegance of Churchill Downs with a mission that hits close to home.
Why We Run: Supporting the ALICE Population
In West Florida, many of our neighbors are ALICE: Asset-Limited, Income-Constrained, Employed. These are the essential workers, childcare providers, and service professionals who work tirelessly but still struggle to afford the basics of housing, food, and healthcare. One "flat tire" or unexpected medical bill can lead to a financial tailspin.
All proceeds from Glitz & Gallop go directly toward programs that provide a safety net for these individuals and families.
