It's time to reconnect with old friends, reminisce about the good old days, and create new memories. promises to be a night filled with laughter, dancing, and nostalgia. THE "SCHED"ule.
1) Friday night, May 3rd 2024 - "Class of 1984 & Friends" Happy Hour First Friday Mini Pub-Crawl 5-8PM+ The Brew Pub, The Springs and lastly at → 7 PM at Doc Holidays
2) Saturday night, May 4 The Main Event! "Class of 1984 & Friends 40th Reunion Party" ? 6PM-11PM+ at the Hotel Colorado.
3) Sunday morning, May 5th in 2024 "1984 Cinco de Mayo & Walk of Shame Brunch" followed by an optional "Flow as You Go, Yo" to the Hot Springs Pool final dip.

THE DEETS! (DETAILS):
Friday Night, May 3, 2024
Our Friday Event #1 on May 3, 2024: From 5pm-8pm, it's our "Class of 1984 & Friends" Happy Hour First Friday Mini Pub-Crawl.
Come as you are to our first and casual "get landed back in town and get ready" event.
2. Starts @ 5 PM at The Brew Pub
3. Then → 6 PM at The Springs
4. And lastly at → 7 PM at Doc Holidays
(*Name tags required. It's been years, baby! Make it easy on each other to reconnect!)
Saturday Night Event #2: ? The Big Reunion Event! Saturday night, May 4th @ The Hotel Colorado from 6 PM-10:30 PM.

? The Main Event! "Class of 1984 & Friends 40th Reunion Party" ? with MC and catered filling appetizers, food with a cash pay bar. *Please get in your reservations. Reserve as we estimate between 100 and 200 people -- or just party crash, but reservations will really help us in planning!
?We will have an MC and a few quick speakers, then → followed by a brief "Gen-X for Life" life achievements edited slideshow (from simply existing as a human, climbing a mountain, having a family, to solo moon travel or regional or global dominance - all equally qualify. Share a pic or two of your life with us all!) with 80s music! Please submit your pictures with a few words to David Neislanik, · @ [email protected] who will be aggregating the information for our May 4th event.
Then -- we honor our ?"Fellow Fallen Angels Memorial Moment" -- then a few people are going to speak for two minutes each.
Then -- we're going to dance ? and party to a DJ playing awesome, rad, and bitching 80s dance tunes.
*Suggested Dress: No dress code. Dress up, dress down come in but 80s style hair, short dresses, and Izod collars up with valley cowboy boots or checkered vans – who cares?
And then our next final morning... Sunday Morning Event #3 & #4
Lastly, on May 5th from 9:30am to 11:30am "1984 Cinco de Mayo & Walk of Shame Brunch" followed by an optional "Flow as You Go, Yo" to the Hot Springs Pool final dip before people go to the airport or home. Table for maybe 40 people max, TBD.

Name Tags Required: It’s been years, baby, and many of us were pretty toasted. Let’s make it easy on each other to reconnect! Nothing worse than trying to remember! Name tags and pens provided at the door of each event. Please make sure to wear 1) your name now and then 2) where you live now 3) your year at GSHS 4) and add your hyphen (if needed). Please make sure to have your spouses (if one is in tow), to wear one as well.

Be Responsible: Please Uber or hotel close by if drinking for safety or make your 20-something kids get off their phones, nut up, and pick you up ;)
Cost & Reservations: We will be using Evite and our Facebook Group. Please join them. Tickets in advance or door are just $25 for Saturday night. There is no charge besides your own drinks and food Friday and Saturday nights! People are welcome to pay at the door, but reservations are greatly appreciated for planning reasons and to reimburse advance event costs and for a great cause below.
For a Great Cause: All collected ticket sales (Friday's pub crawl, Saturday's reunion, Sunday's brunch pool ticket) will go directly to expenses, yet food will be included in Saturday's event. Drinks at all three events shall be cash pay bars, pay as you go. And then any additional funds collected will be given and donated to our very own Shanna Llewellyn's "Strive for Life" Charity Foundation.
And Our Friends!: For "Friends of the Class of 1984" that want to attend, we are seeking a few "nearby class year ambassadors" to help "spread the word" to our friends of the 1984 class, and our nearby classmates to get to the party!
