Glenn Hughes, vocalist/bassist/songwriter, blends hard rock, soul, and funk with a voice hailed by Stevie Wonder. From Trapeze to Deep Purple, his impact spans decades. Dubbed “The Voice of Rock” by the KLF, Hughes has released acclaimed solo work and collaborated with Tony Iommi and Chad Smith. His albums like Soul Mover and Music For The Divine earned critical praise, showcasing his signature fusion of styles and enduring influence.
From 2006–2011, Glenn Hughes toured globally, played sold-out shows in LA, NYC, and Europe, and reunited with Deep Purple’s Ian Paice. He released First Underground Nuclear Kitchen in 2008, hailed as a career high, and formed supergroup Black Country Communion in 2010 with Bonamassa, Sherinian, and Bonham. Their debut hit #1 on the UK Rock Chart, followed by a second album and international tour. Hughes also earned the ChildLine Award for his contributions.
From 2011–2017, Hughes released a bestselling autobiography, toured globally, and earned major accolades with Black Country Communion, including a Top 5 live album and Breakthrough Artist of the Year. He formed California Breed in 2013, toured with Slash and Alter Bridge, and returned to solo work with Resonate in 2016. In 2017, BCC reunited for a fourth album, while Hughes also recorded with Chad Smith and Joe Satriani.
Glenn Hughes has been touring globally since 2017, has released BCCIV and V with Black Country Communion, and joined The Dead Daisies, releasing Holy Ground and Radiance. His Deep Purple Live shows earned rave reviews, and he appeared on Joe Satriani’s What Happens Next.
