Glen Stewart Ravine Plant Walk ($10 cash)
About this Event
Meeting in the parkette where the trail starts on Beech Ave., just south of Kingston Road. This is a beautiful forest trail with a small but crystal clear stream running through it. The forest hosts a variety of native species, including a large patch of purple-flowering raspberries that should be ripe just about this time of the year.
The cost for this event will be $10. Bring 1 guest free of charge. Cash or e-transfer to [email protected] can be paid upon arrival at the event. Bring your plant and tree identification guide if you have one, and if you don't have one, the library is a great place to try some out. Plant ID apps are also welcome; I recommend Plantnet.
