Glen F. Baker Laboratory System Improvement Program (L-SIP) Assessment

The Glen F. Baker Public Health Laboratory would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming state Laboratory System Improvement Program (L-SIP) Assessment!

This one day event will take place in-person on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the UCA Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center, starting at 08:00 AM (Central Daylight Time). Breakfast and lunch will be served, and hotel accomodations can be arranged upon request.

The L-SIP assessment is found to be highly effective in identifying how well the state system functions in addressing laboratory issues. This assessment will give us information on where we are successful, highlight areas of progress, and identify areas for improvement. Through facilitated discussions, a general consensus regarding how well we meet the public health laboratory "gold standards" will be reached. As a laboratory stakeholder and system partner, your attendence and input are critical for making this assessment a success.
