The GLCS Technology Summit is an in-person, two-day working session for trucking, logistics, and brokerage leaders responsible for their companies’ technology decisions.
When and where
The summit takes place during the week of January 25, 2027, at McLeod Software’s headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama. A GLCS hotel block is minutes from the campus.
Who it’s for
Attendance is intentionally small and focused on peers: CEOs, COOs, CFOs, IT leaders, and operations executives from carriers and brokerages that use McLeod and the systems around it. This is not a vendor conference.
What to expect
Discussion-driven sessions focus on current operator challenges, including getting more from the TMS; improving integrations between the TMS, ELDs, accounting, and customer systems; deciding where automation and AI belong in the back office; protecting against freight fraud and cyber threats; and evaluating technology without being sold to.
Attendees will connect directly with the people who build and support the platform, alongside GLCS consultants who implement, integrate, and manage it across hundreds of fleets. Expect candid conversations, examples from other operators, and takeaways to put to work the week you return home.
Networking
Evenings include a group dinner and time to compare notes with peers who run similar businesses.
