The Great Lakes Bay Regional Fundraiser to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation is set for Friday, April 17, 2026. To experience the power of gifting hope and believing in our local Wish Kiddos, join us at the event, become a sponsor, donate an item for the auction or provide a direct monetary donation. Dress in your finest floral or spring-inspired attire to this year's event!The fundraiser event has become a catalyst for nearly 100 children in the GLBR to receive their ‘wish’ with ABC Cares/ABC Greater Michigan Chapter hosting the event for 39 years. Since wishes don’t have an expiration dates, often times wishes are still within reach but the timelines to get there need adjusting.
Associated Builders & Contractors, Greater Michigan Chapter is proud to partner with community leaders and businesses raising more than $671,000 to allow for wishes to be granted to 90+ area children. The 2026 dinner/dance benefiting the Make-A-Wish Michigan will be held, Friday April 17, 2026 at The Great Hall in Midland starting at 6 pm.
Guests will enjoy a relaxing reception upon arrival, followed by a buffet meal with delicious sides, a brief program about Make-A-Wish, exciting silent and live auctions, and end the night with musical fun by dancing to a live band. We will also host a few past Wish recipients as honorary guests! Funds raised from this event will be used to sponsor wishes of children in Michigan who are bravely facing their health challenges.
Ticket Cost - $70 per person through 4/15; $85 per person if purchased 4/16-at the door (includes buffet, dessert and 2 drink tickets, plus Live Music). $25 for children ages 6-18; children 5 and under are free.
