Come out and learn an amazing craft of Glass-on-Glass Mosaic November 15th @ 2:00pm , Must be 18 yrs old or older due to class safety. You’ll be working from a selection of patterns (hummingbird, Iris Flower or Xmas candles w/ holly) and glass to learn the skills of glass cutting and grinding from start to finish. Glass-on-Glass Mosaic is a “free form” of traditional stained glass in which you can be more relaxed with your pattern and there is no need for foiling and soldering to complete the piece.
You will be learning skills in:
Glass Handling & Safety
Cutting
Grinding
Fitting to a pattern
Christine offers traditional Stained Glass Window classes at her studio by Appointment, and this will show you a brief intro to that craft and provide starter skills for future classes.
What to Bring:
- You must wear close-toed shoes
- Long sleeved shirts are preferred, but know that your cuffs may get wet, so you can roll them up.
