**** Class Description ****
Glass on glass mosaics utilize translucent stained glass pieces ( tesserae) and a clear glass surface as a base. The translucent nature of the stained glass, combined with the transparency of the base creates a piece that interacts with light, similar to traditional stained glass. Students will get an intro to mosaic art, gain an understanding of glass on glass technique, and how to use hand tools. This is a make and take class!
- Ages 13 + ( Parent signature required for ages under 16)
-Class Duration: 2 hours
****Safety Notes****
- Safety glasses are required. They will be available to borrow or purchase. You may also bring your own.
- No sandals or open to shoes.
- Soft drink must be in covered/closed containers.
- Clothing that covers at least to your knees is recommended.
