Join us for a fun and creative 2-hour glass fusing workshop, where you get to design and create your very own glass fused cat or dog! Guided by two highly trained glass artists, you will learn the basics of layering and design while creating a charming animal figure that stands upright with an attached support wire on the back — perfect for displaying in your home or office.
This beginner-friendly workshop is open to all skill levels. You will choose from a vibrant array of coloured glass pieces, frits, stringers, and embellishments to bring your furry friend to life — whether it’s a playful pup or a sleek cat!
Important:
To help us prepare your glass base in advance, please let us know when booking whether you’d like to make a cat or a dog. This allows our facilitators to have your base shape ready to go when you arrive. If you do not let Tactile Arts know your preference, the facilitators will have a few options to choose from on arrival.
Finished pieces will be fired in our kiln after the session and ready for pickup shortly after the workshop.
