GLASHAUS: A contemporary art exhibition celebrating Philadelphia's creative spirit through dialogue, empathy, and community.
About this Event

As Philadelphia commemorates its historic 250th anniversary, Engel & Völkers Philadelphia proudly presents GLASHAUS, a curated contemporary art exhibition celebrating the city's creative spirit and the conversations that shape its future.

Taking place on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 5:00–9:00 PM, GLASHAUS is more than an art exhibition—it is an evening of thoughtful visual dialogue presented by a luxury real estate brand committed to investing in the neighborhoods it serves. Vibrant communities are defined not only by their homes and architecture, but also by their cultural pulse.

GLASHAUS invites visitors to move beyond division and embrace shared values rooted in curiosity, understanding, and mutual respect. Through an honest and thought-provoking collection of work, the exhibition explores how race, gender, and class shape our individual experiences while encouraging deeper understanding of one another. At its heart, GLASHAUS is an invitation to engage in meaningful dialogue, practice empathy, and celebrate the connections that strengthen our communities.

This exhibition reflects the powerful intersection of art, community, and place—highlighting the role creativity plays in shaping the identity and future of Philadelphia.

Curated by TYWHO (Anthony Tyrone Howard), and hosted by Bonnie Magwaza of Engel & Völkers GLASHAUS brings together a diverse group of visual artists alongside curated artistic apparel, creating an immersive experience that celebrates contemporary expression while honoring the city's rich cultural landscape.
