Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust - Open Weekend Tours

On October 12th & 13th, 2024, step into the past as we bring history to life with a remarkable collection of vintage buses, commercial vehicles, and fire engines, plus free vintage bus rides to and from the City Centre, Kelvingrove Museum, and the Riverside Museum.

Explore the sights and sounds of yesteryear with free vintage bus services between the City Centre, Kelvingrove Museum, and Riverside Museum, featuring an array of historic buses from our own GVVT collection and guest vehicles.

Don't forget to browse the GVVT shop, "Your Wee Happy Shop," offering books, DVDs, clothing, and more. Plus, enjoy a variety of visiting stalls with souvenirs, models, photos, and autojumble. The Model Bus Federation will also be on-site, showcasing their detailed dioramas in a range of street scenes.

When it's time to refuel, visit the Clippie’s Café for delicious home-baked treats and light snacks. This is a weekend you won't want to miss—bring the whole family for a celebration of transport history!
