Our next 8 weeks Beginners course takes place on Tues 10th January and ending 28th February 2023 in Glasgow, Central Community Halls. Do join us and experience the uplifting energy of Taiko Drumming!"Wadaiko" - Taiko drumming - is an energetic, physical and highly choreographed art form. Originally from Japan, with roots going back hundreds of years and encompassing a variety of styles, rhythms and movement, this traditional folk art is now developing and spreading as a modern European art form.
This course is designed to be suitable for both beginners & improvers, and will take the participants step by step from the stance, to the bachi drumstick grip through to learning a performance piece!
