The owner of Parksland Retreat are Atlanta Polyamory members and have been generous enough to set reserve their whole property for a weekend so we can have a fun weekend in their woods together!
Parksland Retreat is a 40 acre forest with off grid facilities and homestead all surrounded by the Talladega National Forest. Each booking includes a campsite, hot showers, One (1) car parking, and access to the Retreat grounds and waters.
The property is surrounded on all sides by the Talladega National Forest. It is completely forested and has a 1/2 mile of creek flowing through it. They have an 18x32 ft community kitchen pavilion, a main camp fire circle, three Glamping setups and three Camping areas each with a fire ring with varying access and primitiveness. The center camp is next to the Cabin Dustin lives in.

If you don't have a tent or don't fancy pitching one yourself this weekend, Parksland has 3 that are already up and ready to be used.
TAKEN - Site #1 "Knoll" Private 16ft Diameter Canvas Bell Tent with wood stove on a Yurt Platform in the Forest with a Queen bed, linens, bedding, pillows and towels. Includes seating, tables and a fire ring. Accessed by a 200ft trail from parking. $130 for the weekend
TAKEN - Site #2 "Hillside" Private 16ft Diameter Canvas Sibley Tent with wood stove on a Yurt Platform in the Forest with a Queen bed, linens, bedding, pillows and towels. Includes seating and a table. Accessed by a hiking trail ~400ft from the center parking area. $144 for the weekend
TAKEN - Site #3 "Hollow" Private 16ft Diameter Canvas Bell Tent with wood stove on a Yurt Platform in the Forest next to the creek with a Queen bed, linens, bedding, pillows and towels. Includes seating and a table. Accessed by a hiking trail ~600ft from the center parking area. $144 for the weekend
If you'd like to pitch your own tent, there's three areas available:
Each tent is $50 for the weekend
"Hill Top": [Drive Up] Primitive Campsite with fire ring (Large enough for 3 or 4 tents). It is next to the Parkland Retreat drive so is not completely private but is convenient and has a nice view.
"Creekbend": [Walk in 1/8 Mile] Large Creekside Campsite with fire ring (up to ~6 tents).
"Creekside": [Walk in 1/6 Mile] Completely Private Creekside site with fire ring and two flat spaces for tents.
Hike in sites are most enjoyably accessed with a backpack for your gear. The trail drops 80ft of elevation to get to the creek from the parking area. Trail is not wide or flat enough for carts/wagons.
RSVPs will be closed to new attendees when we reach max capacity or 1 week before the event because we need time to finalize the menu.
NOTE! Parksland is a clothing optional retreat. Some of the people, some of the time choose not to wear some or any of their clothes. We honor each persons individual clothing choices. All events at Parksland (especially private ones like ours) are clothing optional, just plan to wear bottoms in the kitchen and in dining areas. Children ARE welcome to attend, but be sure you're comfortable with them seeing nude (non-sexual) bodies. Quiet Time 10pm - 9am unless otherwise communicated by host.
