Glamoure Performance Academy: Intro to Chair Work

Chair work is a burlesque and cabaret classic, but you don't have to be an experienced dancer to make a chair your playground. In Intro to Chair Work, we’ll learn foundational chair movements, poses, transitions, and tricks while focusing on confidence, musicality, and stage presence.

We’ll explore how to use the chair safely and creatively, turning simple movements into something that looks polished and dramatic. Whether your goal is burlesque, drag, cabaret, or simply learning a fun new performance skill, you’ll leave with a whole new appreciation for the humble chair.
