Great performers know that a fabulous costume doesn't have to come from a fabulous price tag. In Costuming: Thrift to Fabulous, we’ll explore the art of finding, modifying, embellishing, and transforming thrifted and inexpensive pieces into performance-worthy costumes.
We’ll talk about choosing pieces that work on stage, creating a cohesive look, adding sparkle and drama, and thinking outside the box when it comes to materials. Whether you’re building your first burlesque costume or creating a completely outrageous drag look, you’ll leave ready to see the thrift store in a whole new way!
