Glamorgan Castle State Historic Marker Dedication

The Ohio State Historic marker commemorating Col. William H. Morgan, the builder of Glamorgan Castle and celebrating the Castle will be officially dedicated. Funds for the marker were provided by grants from the Pomeroy Foundation and Visit Canton/ArtsinStark. A brief program will feature remarks from Karen Perone (Alliance Historical Society), Stacia Kuceyeski (Ohio History Connection), and Brad Goris (Castle Crusaders). A cookies and punch reception will follow inside the Castle. The event is part of Alliance’s America 250 celebration. It is free and open to the public.
