Glam Studio Lighting Class

In this class we will learn how to take modern day Beauty Portraits. By using standard studio equipment we will walk through how to photograph glamorous editorial style portraits. Perfect for high end senior portrait sessions, beauty editorials, and makeup and jewelry clients. Learn some go-to lighting recipes. We will be working in the high key register of our exposure.

Please register early, within 5 days of the start date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation.

The first 45 minutes will be lecture and walkthrough. Last 2 hours will be hands on shooting with a model. This class will take place at Precision Camera’s Studio.

Camera with manual controls, hot shoe, and portrait length lens (75-150mm). Memory Card, Note taking supplies.

This is an intermediate class that will introduce you to studio lighting and light shapers. You should be comfortable with shooting in full manual control with an understanding of ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture.

Josh loves to use his photographs to tell stories, and he excels in designing creative story-boarded shoots. Josh is passionate about photography and the creative development of his students. He uses a variety of teaching techniques to help his students realize their photographic vision.
